General Terms and Conditions of Rental

Each stay is subject to validation by a digital document that serves as a rental contract. We may, if necessary, send a paper contract.
This contract is reserved exclusively for seasonal chalet rentals. The tenant may not in any case claim the right to remain in the premises at the end of the rental period. The rental may not in any case benefit a third party, except with prior agreement from Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative.

Rental Conditions

The reservation becomes effective when the tenant has paid a 30% deposit of the stay price to Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative, plus reservation fees, and has validated their stay by email (or mail).
The balance of the rental must be paid one month before the start of the stay, otherwise the contract will be cancelled. In the case of a last-minute booking, the full amount of the stay is due at the time of booking.
If the tenant delays their arrival, they must notify Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative. In the event of a shortened stay, the rental price remains due to Le Hameau des Lacs. No refund will be made.
The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the destination of the premises.
All chalets are designed and insured to accommodate a maximum of 5  people. No exceptions will be made.

Arrivals, Inventory, Deposit, and Departures

Arrivals take place on Saturdays at 5: 00  PM for chalets and 1: 00  PM for camping pitches. After registration and deposit of a guarantee (see current year's tariff), the inventory is carried out by the tenant and returned to the reception desk for validation. It serves as the sole reference in the event of a dispute regarding the state of the premises.
Late arrivals (after 7: 00  PM) are only accepted if Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative has been notified.
The cleaning of the pitch and its surroundings is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period and before their departure. The pitch must be returned in perfect order and cleanliness.
On the day of departure, Saturday before 10: 00  AM, the deposit is refunded to the tenant after inventory, deducting any losses, damage, or cost of restoring the premises to their original state. In the event of an early departure preventing the inventory, the deposit is destroyed by Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative.
Outside of season, the tenant can arrive or depart on the day specified in the contract, provided they have notified Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative and obtained their agreement.

Insurance and Animals

The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by their actions. They are invited to verify that they are properly covered by a "vacation" insurance contract for these risks.
Any tenant accompanied by an animal must have obtained the agreement of Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative. During their stay, they must present the animal's vaccination card. In addition, they must keep the animal on a leash and take it for walks outside the village. The cleanliness of the chalet and its surroundings will be checked at the end of the stay.

Right to Image

You authorize Le Hameau des Lacs to use, without compensation, photos of you and your children taken during your stay on any advertising medium.

Payment of Charges

At the beginning of the stay, the tenant must pay for any options chosen.
They must also pay, as they incur them, the cost of any services used during the stay (laundry, bread, newspaper, etc. ). A tourist tax (see current tariff) per night and per person over 18  years old will be paid at the end of the stay.

Cancellation Conditions

• More than 30  days before the arrival date: €30  cancellation fee + reservation fees
• Between 30  days and 15  days before arrival: 25% of the stay cost + reservation fees
• Between 14  days and 3  days before the start of the stay: 75% of the stay cost + reservation fees
• Less than 3  days before arrival: 100% of the stay cost

Reservation fees are not refundable.
Le Hameau des Lacs or its representative is not responsible for transporting its tenants. It will not be held responsible in the event of an impossibility for its tenants to reach the vacation destination, regardless of the reason, even in the event of force majeure. It will not proceed to any refund.

Cancellation Insurance

Le Hameau des Lacs offers the option to subscribe to a Cancellation and Interruption Insuranceat the rate of 4% of the stay. Our external partner MEETCH undertakes to reimburse all or part of your stay, including in the event of proven Covid19  or Covid19  contact cases. Disputes

Any disputes arising from the operations of sale concluded in accordance with these general terms and conditions of sale, concerning their validity, interpretation, execution, termination, consequences, and consequences, and which could not be resolved between Le Hameau des Lacs and the tenant, will be submitted to the courts of Rodez (Aveyron), the place where the service was provided.

The tenant is informed that they may, in any case, resort to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution procedure.
